We progressed to the Gotv shield Finals today after downing Sony Sugar FC at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. Masoud Juma was the hero again scoring two goals to take us through to what will be our maiden FA cup final in history.

Sharks will meet Afc Leopards who knocked out Vihiga United in the other semi-Final the final match is expected to be played on 20th October 2017. The winner of the Gotv Shield represents the country in the CAF Confederations cup and sharks, first timers in the final will be hoping to lift the tittle and represent the country in continental fixtures.

 Sharks came from two goals down to salvage a point against posta Rangers FC in an entertaining league match played today in Kasarani . Posta Rangers were gifted the first goal after a poor clearance found a Joseph Nyaga and the striker directed the ball into the empty net. a quick counter attack would see Nyaga grab his second  to extend posta's lead.

Sharks pressed the opponents and got a lifeline back into the game when Patilla Omoto fed Masoud Juma , the striker getting us a goal back heading into the break .

The coach made a double change beginning of the second half bringing in Ovella Ochieng and Christopher Kimathi  to bolster our attack. Sharks ,after a series of attempts on goal finally got a deserved goal nine minutes from time Masoud Juma leaving his marker to score with a lovely left footed curl  past the keeper .

Sharks should have gone ahead to win the match but we couldn't take  of the chances we created and at the end we had to settle for a point . The draw  was enough to see us move to 3rd on the log with 39 points from 25 matches. Our next assignment is against Sony Sugar FC in the Gotv shield Tournament on Sunday in Nakuru.

we shared the spoils with sofapaka in the league match played today at the Machakos Stadium. Sharks came close to opening in the first half with Sanneh's effort coming off the post while Duke Abuya missed with a close range effort.

The beginning of the second half would see Sofapaka make two changes bringing in defenders and despite controlling possession and creating a number of chances , our efforts bore no fruit as the match ended in a goalless draw.

We move to 3rd on the table standings. Our next match is against Posta Rangers FC in a midweek league match .

We managed to gain maximum points yet again against our 'derby' rivals Mathare United in an entertaining match played today at Moi Sports Center , Kasarani .


 After threatening in the opening minutes , Sharks deservedly took the lead in the 25th minute after Duke Abuya converted a Masoud Juma cut back pass to ensure that we headed back to the dressing room on the front foot .

The second  would see more attacking football from both sides and Mathare United were gifted a penalty and a chance to get themselves back into the game but Mboya would have none of it, the keeper managing to maintain the scoreline in favor of  Sharks .

 Sharks would get several chances to extend the lead and the moment eventually came when Ovella sent a cracker past the helpless Opiyo in Mathare's goal. Masoud Juma who had been itching to get his name on the score sheet was finally rewarded with few minutes to the end of the match after he converted from inside the box from Patilla's assist .

The move up to 3rd in league standings with 37 points . Next assignment is against Sofapaka FC Machakos on Saturday

The team returned to training today  at the Utalii Grounds in preparation for the ' Slum Derby ' match against Mathare United FC. 

 The coach , despite having a number of absentees and injuries to grapple with still exuded confidence of getting a positive result in tomorrow 's clash. 

On the opponents : they are a good side, their recent results should tell what kind of a match to expect tomorrow. They are on a good run and soa are we . they say it's  a derby of some sought so we hope to come out with the bragging rights again.

The match will be played tomorrow Wednesday 13th September 2017 at the Kasarani Stadium Kick off 3pm.
