Club History

The club was founded in the Nairobi Suburb of Kariobangi in the year 2000 by Nick Mwendwa. It started in the lower cadres of the Nairobi league. In that year the lowest league was the Division II and that was the starting point. Through that decade, the club was promoted step by step to higher leagues with great success.

In 2011 the club was promoted to the KFF nationwide league just before the Unified elections and subsequently played in the unified Division I league then joining the newly formed National Super league in 2013. The club prides itself in growing youngsters and sticking to a passing mentality of educating young players by working hard over a long period of time and did not mind results so long as the players played and enjoyed the game.

4 players in the current squad of players have been in the team for last 7 years or more, they know each other for many years and have a mission to conquer the game locally. Many players have played for the various national teams in Kenya from Kariobangi sharks, Patillah Omoto the midfield marshal and creator in chief (Number 8) is the most famous and well known player in the history of the team. 5 players were part of the national under 20 famous team of 202 and 2013 they include Eric Omondi, Geoffrey Shiveka, Patillah Omoto, Vincent Odongo and Robinson Kamura who since moved to Mathare United.

The objective of the club is to change the way football is viewed in Kenya, to play in the CAF champions league by end of the decade, to have young and upcoming players get the opportunity to play on the world stage. The latest and youngest sensation is Ovella Ochieng of Upper hill school who is the best striker of his generation.
