Sharks defender Samuel Olwande played 90 minutes in both the two games for Kenya as they started their AFCON 2021 Qualifiers.
On Thursday 14th November he produced a heroic performance as Kenya held Egypt to a 1-1 draw in Alexandria. He blocked the ball from the line twice in the last five minutes to help the team secure a big result.
On Monday 18th November he also played the full game as Kenya drew 1-1 with Togo. He played at right back in both games, and if his performances are anything to go by, then he is on the path of cementing his position at the Harambee Stars.
