TEAM NEWS AND HEAD TO HEAD RECORD FOR TOMORROW’S CLASH

Sharks host Kakamega Homeboyz tomorrow at the Kasarani Stadium seeking to end the long stretched winless run. It has been four consecutive draws by the lads in the run up to this fixture.

Homeboyz on their side come into the match after suffering a 1-3 home loss against Tusker FC and two wins in their last five. However, they are buoyed by having the current league top scorer (Allan Wanga) in their ranks. The head to head also favors the visitors with four wins to their good and two draws in our previous league meetings.

Sharks welcomed back Lemu Shiveka who has trained this week and will be in contention for a place in the match day squad same to striker George Abege who has shook off the knock that kept him out in the midweek. Winger Harrisson Mwendwa completed his last stages of rehab while Captain Patila Omoto is still out injured.

Vincent Wasambo who bagged himself a brace in the last match believes his teammates have what it takes to pick a win tomorrow, promising to give the fans a good show:

“We have been playing better in the last three or four matches. We have dominated our opponents and have always been creating chances. The key for us will be to defend as a team and attack as a team and do our best to keep our concentration. We have conceded very early then also scored very late when some ties were going against us so I believe we will give a good show tomorrow.”

The boys will have to bring their end game to end the jinx against the Western Kenya side tomorrow and to try and catch up with the top eight as well as building up to an interesting week that got a derby and a cup final in it.
