Kariobangi Sharks made history after being the first East African Soccer club to be awarded for producing a documentary as it was feted as The Best African Film at the Kenya International Sports Film Festival.
A delighted Kariobangi Sharks chairman welcomed the recognition and promised even more content from the club media department;
“It is a great pleasure to see that our documentary has received global recognition. We are happy to win the Best African Film award. This is indeed positive feedback and it gives us the impetus to continue doing such productions. We are committed to producing sports content and we promise our fans more.”
Against All Odds beat over 800 other entrants to emerge as the Best African Film. It also finished as runners up in the Best Short Documentary.
