It is with shock and disappointment that we have received the news of the passing on of the second President of our Republic, President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.

President Moi will be remembered for fostering harmony amongst citizens of our nation and promoting peace beyond borders to our troubled African brothers and sisters during a period of civil strife in the continent.

In the sporting world we will remember him for promoting the beautiful game of soccer by investing in sports infrastructure the most notable ones being Nyayo National Stadium and Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani where we play our home matches.

We join the rest of the nation, the continent and the world in sending our condolences to the family of our great statesman. Let us celebrate this great man by living in peace and harmony as he would have loved.
