FKFPL: Late Shariff strike wins it for Sharks against Bandari
An 86th-minute strike by substitute Shariff Musa was all that was needed by the Sharks to secure all three points against Bandari in a 1-0 win at the Kasarani Stadium on Wednesday in round 12 of the FKF Premier League.
The diminutive forward scored from close range past an onrushing Joseph Okoth, in goal for the Dockers, to seal our third win of the season that ultimately lifts us up to ninth on the standings with 14 points.

Shariff had been introduced at halftime, with the scores at 0-0, for Keith Imbali perhaps as a cautionary measure as the midfielder was already on a yellow card. The decision however proved to be a masterstroke from coach William Muluya as the forward linked-up well with Tyson Otieno to bag his third goal of the season with four minutes left on the clock.
Bandari had won four of the previous five matches against Sharks and were full of confidence coming into the midweek tie. The coastal outfit created several scoring chances with the biggest of them all coming just two minutes before our winner. Former Tusker FC forward Chris Ochieng glanced a header just inches wide after rising the highest to connect with a cross from the right.

Former Sharkmen Fidel Origa and Douglas Mokaya started the game for Bandari while Felix Oluoch was named on the bench.
Dan Guya, a former Docker, played the entire 90 at the heart of our defence.
Coach Muluya made three changes in total on Wednesday with the other two seeing George Onyango and Leon Otieno come on for the final half-hour for Fredrick Alushula and Moses Shikanda.
The lads will be back in action again on Saturday at our Utalii base to play host to Bidco United.
