FKFPL: Musamali earns Sharks point against Bidco United
The Sharks battled from a goal down to rescue a point against Bidco United on Saturday thanks to a 1-1 draw in an FKF Premier League round 13 tie played at the Kasarani Stadium Annex.
In the day’s early kick-off, defender Kevin Musamali converted from the spot deep in stoppage time to cancel out Alex Juma’s 3rd-minute opener that had looked like being the decider.
William Muluya’s charges had the opportunity of breaking a points tie with Bidco with a win and consequently move up to seventh on the standings, but they were unable to and remain in ninth place with 15 points.

Musamali converted his fourth penalty and fifth goal of the season after Thomas Wainaina handled inside the area a shot at goal from the substitute Matthew Kibiwott. The goal was a sigh of relief for the Sharkmen who had seen several scoring chances go begging.
Moses Shikanda, introduced at halftime for Keith Imbali, had two glorious chances to pull us back level in the 55th and 57th minutes but was unable to convert.

Shariff Musa and Frederick Alushula were the other changes made in the game.
Saturday’s game marked our last league outing of January, a month that has seen us take to the pitch a total of seven times. We will next be in action on February 4th to take on Tusker FC at their Ruaraka base.
