FULL TIME SHARKS 2-4 ULINZI

A bad day in the office as a goal from each of our strikers Erick Kapaito in the 65th minute and an early 15th minute goal was not enough to secure a point at Moi Kasarani stadium in a 4-2 loss against Ulinzi Stars FC.

Coach William made three changes to his starting lineup bringing in Geofrey Shiveka, Sven Yidah, and Harrison Mwendwa in place of Samuel Olwande, Shaphan Oyugi and James Mazembe while Sydney Lokale started his third successive game of the season.

The first half started on an explosive note with the Sharks attack prodding Ulinzi defense with speedy attacks from the wings, this resulted in a goal for Sharks in the 15th Minute scored by Sydney Lokale, his first goal of the season coming from a close range finish.

Ulinzi were quick to respond with a goal from Elvis Nandwa in the 18th Minute and thereafter, Oscar Wamalwa with a brace in the 35th and 45th minute.

In the Second half, the coach made three substitutions bringing on Masaba Julius, James Mazembe and Erick Kapaito. After a salvo of attacks, Sharks got a second goal from Erick Kapaito after he latched onto a cross by Duke Abuya to leave the keeper flat footed with a deadly left foot strike.

Harun Mwale scored Ulinzi’s fourth goal against the run of play in the 90th minute putting the scores at 4-2 in the end.
