Motion on youth at AGM big win for clubs, says CEO

The Annual General Meeting of Football Kenya Federation last week adopted a proposal allowing Kenya Premier League sides to field members of their youth teams in league matches. The proposal that was spear-headed by Kariobangi Sharks FC represented by CEO Mrs. Lynda Ambiyo is a big win for the club and Kenyan Football at large.

She expressed the club’s joy in the resolution and urged all stakeholders to join hands in developing the youngsters of the game and also noted that it promotes sustainable financial programs for clubs

“With a congested fixture expected in the 2018/19 season, this will go a long way in providing depth for the senior team as well as cutting costs as the wage bill of the senior team will be reduced by having a leaner squad,” she said.
