Goalkeeper Brian Bwire leads a contingent of five sharks’players who have made it to the final Kenya under 20 squad for the CECAFA Under 20 championships set to take place in Uganda.

He is joined by defender Tom Teka, midfielder Peter Oudu, Winger Patrick Otieno and Sydney Lokale.

The team left Kenya on Wednesday night for the championship that is set to be played between September 21st and October 5th 2019.

It will be the first national duty assignments for Tom Teka, Patrick Otieno and Peter Oudu while Sydney Lokale and Brian Bwire will be in familiar territory having already featured for the under 20s before as well as the under 23 and senior sides.

Kenya has been pooled in Group B alongside Ethiopia, Zanzibar, Tanzania. Uganda, Sudan, Eritrea. The top three teams from Group A and B will join the top two from Group C in the quarterfinals.
