NATIONAL DUTY: SHARKS PLAYERS CALLED UP FOR MARCH 2019 FIXTURES

Kenya National Team head coach Sebastian Migne has released his 24-man squad for the last AFCON 2019 qualifiers match against Ghana. He has included goalkeeper John Oyemba and midfielder Duke Abuya. This is the first senior call up for the latter after starting the season strongly with convincing performances while the former will be making it for the second time having traveled for international friendlies last year before being disrupted by injury.
Five other Sharks players have also been called up to the Kenya Under 23 side led by Francis Kimanzi which is set to take on Sudan in a two legged AFCON Under 23 qualifiers to be played between March 20th -24th. The five are Brian Bwire, James Mazembe, Sven Yidah, Sydney Lokale and Bonface Onyango who is earning his first call up.
In South Sudan, the bright stars under 23 captains John Kuol shall again lead his team as they face Tunisia in a two legged fixture also in the AFCON under 23 qualifiers.
The manager welcomed this development, saying that the team benefits a lot from this international exposure that their players are receiving.
