
NGUNYI TO MISS OUT THE SEASON AFTER DEBRIDEMENT
Speedster Patrick Ngunyi has undergone the knife again 273 days after his initial surgery.
Last game
Ngunyi last featured for the Sharkmen back in February 2020 in a Betway cup fixture against Talanta fc coming on as a second half substitute.
Where and after how long?
Ngunyi underwent a patellar tendon debridement yesterday at Kijabe Hospital 39 weeks after He had undergone an arthroscopy.

Rehabilitation exercise
He had begun His rehabilitation exercises and had reached running stage which he kickstarted and responded positively in September 2021.
The surgery
“A small incision was made over Ngunyi’s patella tendon in just below the kneecap. The damaged tissues were removed and the injured area repaired.” Explained team physiotherapist John Kemboi on being asked about the debridement.
How long will He be out?
The speedy offensive will be out of action for 180 days.
