Ahead of the next league match away to Nzoia, we spoke to Nixon Omondi who reflected upon his time at the Bungoma based side before he crossed over to the Sharks. The left back was full of praise for his former team in his remarks.

“Nzoia will forever be in my heart. It is a special place. It is here that I got the opportunity to play in the top flight for the very first time, so I really thank them for the opportunity presented.”

“When I was here, I made some good friends as well as learning a lot about the culture of the people of Bungoma. I also enjoyed the food very much.”

He however insisted that his emotions will be suspended for the 90 minutes of play this Saturday in order to complete the task ahead;

“However, on Saturday, I will put all that aside and lock my mind into strictly concentrating on the job in front of me and my teammates, which will be to try get the maximum points from the game. We want to continue with our record here.”
