SHARKS VS TUSKER MATCH REPORT

Kevintom Machika 1st half goal was cancelled by a George Odhiambo equalizer and a Luke Namanda brace all in the second half as Tusker won 3-1 in a Kenyan Premier League round 13 match played at the Kasarani Stadium.

Coach Muluhya had made three changes going into this match, handing midfielder Peter Oudu his debut, and introducing Tom Teka for his 1st start of the season as well as Brian Bwire in goal.

The changes worked well as the Sharks looked solid in what was a cagey 1st half, as Sharks took the lead in the 41st minute through Kevintom Machika going into the break with a lead.

The 2nd half saw the visitors throw more bodies forward and this provided opportunities for the Sharks to counter but they never made use of the chances as the sharpness in the final 3rd was clearly lacking.

Sven Yidah was introduced for injured Patilah Omoto in the 68th minute and Harrison Mwendwa came in for James Mazembe as the coach looked to add a 2nd goal.

It was Tusker however who got the next goal as George Odhiambo tapped in from close range from a dangerous cross brought in by Namanda to level matters in the 70th minute.

10 minutes later, the visitors added another goal this through Luke Namanda who capitalized on a goal mouth scramble to score from a corner kick. Namanda added another one in the 87th minute after he finished off a counter attack by the visitors.

The loss ext3ended the bad run for the Sharks who still languish at the relegation zone ahead of the next Sunday clash against Posta Rangers.
