SHARKS 1-AFC LEOPARDS 1: ABEGE SAVES THE DAY FOR 10 MEN SHARKS
The boys came into this tie with history on their side having picked up two wins and three draws against Leopards in the only five league meetings between the two. The coach welcomed back Patilah Omoto in the midfield while Michael Bodo continued to fit in as make shift center back in a back line that also had youngster Ian Taifa starting as right back.
It was the visitors who were first to come of the blocks with Whyvonne Isuza scoring in just the 45th second of the match after the boys were caught napping. That early goal seemed to have given the boys some jitters as the first quarter of an hour was marred by a disjointed build up play with the visitors threatening through the flanks.
