SHARKS 2-5 KCB

It was an unfortunate evening at the Kasarani Stadium as Kariobangi Sharks suffered a 5-2 defeat to KCB.

Two goals from Duke Abuya and Julius Masaba were not enough to match a brace from Reagan Reagan Otieno and a goal each from Enock Agwanda, Simon Munalia, and Samuel Mwangi.

The first half was a tight affair as Sharks cancelled out a Simon Munala 9th minute goal with two quick fire goals (Abuya 27th, and Masaba 30th)minute to take a 2-1 lead at the half hour mark. The visitors however restored parity just before the break through Reagan Otieno 32nd minute to ensure the game was tied at the break

In the second half it was a KCB affair as the vistors scored three goals through Samuel Mwangi 59th minute, Enock Agwanda 64th minute, and Reagan Otieno 75th minute.

The introduction of Sydney Lokale and Patrick Otieno added impetus in the last 15 minutes but the Sharks were unable to break the KCB side who resorted to play behind the ball and protect their lead.

The boys will have to dust themselves off and prepare to visit Tusker FC next weekend.
