After ending the league on a high with a convincing victory against Vihiga United, focus now shifts to the cup competition. K-Sharks has proven to be specialists in the cup competitions judging from their record in the last four editions where they have only lost two matches; a semi-final against Ulinzi in 2016 and a final against AFC Leopards the following year.

The historic victory over Sofapaka in the finals last year is still fresh in memory of the players and the club faithful owning to the short transitional league calendar we have had. Saturday June 1st presents yet another opportunity for the sharks to write history as they seek to win the shield cup back to back.
