SHARKS RESUME LEAGUE ACTION AGAINST ULINZI STARS

After breaking for the AFCON qualifiers, the Kenyan Premier League returns with midweek fixtures. Kariobangi Sharks will host Ulinzi Stars at the Kasarani Stadium on Thursday 21st November 2019.

Ulinzi Stars come into the game placed 5th on the log with 16 points having drawn in their last two fixtures. Sharks on the other hand are in an unfamiliar 15th place, 9 points adrift the visitors.

Within the six meetings between the clubs, Ulinzi stars has two wins, Sharks 1 win, while two of them have ended as draws.

Sharks will take confidence from the fact they have scored six goals against the soldiers in the last two games. The goals came from an emphatic Sydney Lokale hat-trick at the Kasarani stadium as it ended 3-1 to give Sharks their maiden win against the soldiers.

The other three were in a great comeback at the Afraha stadium as Julius Masaba hit a brace to help Sharks come from 3-1 down to draw 3-3.

The only other fixture played between the two at the Kasarani Stadium was FKF shield semi -final back in 2018 in which Sharks hit Ulinzi 4-1. If the record at the Kasarani is anything to go by then we should expect a high scoring fixture.
