
SHARKS VS BANDARI HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
Kariobangi Sharks will host Bandari for the fourth time in the League this Wednesday. The tie has been developing into a rivalry after the two teams met twice last season in Cup finals and they have also traded the FKF Cup trophy.
Of the six league meetings, both teams have three wins. Both teams have also kept three clean sheets. In fact, in each game they have played against each other in the league, the winner has walked away without conceding a goal.
Sharks won the first three league meetings with a similar 1-0 score line. The first one was on 13th May 2017 courtesy of Mathew Tayo goal at home, the second one came from a Masud Juma winner away from home on 9th September 2017 and the third and last one was from a Sven Yidah winner at home on 27th May 2018.
Bandari got their maiden win on 28th July 2018 as William Wadri scored a brace to add on Joshua Oyoo goal that saw the game end 3-0 at the Mbaraki Stadium. On 16th February 2019 they won 1-0 at the Kasarani Stadium courtesy of a Mwana Yema second half strike. The last encounter saw them win 1-0 at the Mbaraki Stadium through Abdallah Hassan.
This fixture will come at a time that both teams are struggling for form. Hosts Sharks are placed 14th on the table while Bandari are at 11th with 18 points, 8 more than the Sharks.
Kasarani Stadium shall host the match starting 3:00 PM.
