Vincent Wasambo has returned to training after spending five months on the sidelines. The midfielder sustained an ankle injury back in June during a pre-season friendly that forced him to go for a surgery. He has started light training this morning at the Utalii grounds under the watch of team doctor John Kemboi who had positive remarks on his recovery process;

” Wasambo has shown great character from the time he went for surgery. He has been obedient to medical instructions and punctual for all his recovery sessions. ”

He added, ” According to our projections, he should start full training at around late December. We are taking him slow but steadily and I believe he is in the right frame of mind. “
